Getting rid of white clover starts with a healthy lawn. Clover will grow in areas of low nitrogen and where competition from other plants is small, so making sure that your lawn is well fertilized will help. Clover is one of those weeds that is very hard to kill and may require more than one treatment. If it is only on one area, you may want to try a selective spray labeled for clover. If it is all over, use Lawn Weed Control. This product is a granular herbicide and has no fertilizer. Do not apply if temperatures are over 85° as lawn burn could occur.
